Walk the Salt Path from Your Doorstep

The South West Coast Path, which features so vividly in the book, runs just a short walk from Little Beside cottage. Whether you're retracing parts of Raynor and Moth's journey or simply searching for breathtaking coastal walks with your dog, this is an ideal base for your own version of escape and reflection.

About the South West Coast Path and The Salt Path

The South West Coast Path is a 630-mile trail stretching along the coastline of southwest England, from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset. Its wild cliffs, quiet coves, and ever-changing skies form the backdrop to The Salt Path, which follows a couple walking the path after losing their home and livelihood.

Whatever your take, this part of the coast offers some of the most striking and soulful sections of the trail. From dramatic clifftop paths to secret sandy beaches, Little Beside is perfectly positioned for walking holidays in Cornwall.
